The A Little Dusting home-care plan
Regular cleaning. With the little things taken care of, too.
A Little Dusting visits use your booked time for two kinds of work. One is the regular cleaning. The other is the less frequent jobs that keep a home looked after.
1. The time you book
Each visit has a set length, for example 3 hours. Your quote confirms the length and the price for each visit. Everything below happens inside that time.
2. Regular cleaning
Regular cleaning covers the recurring jobs that keep your home clean and presentable. They happen at every visit.
3. Rotational household maintenance
Some jobs need attention, but not every week. For example:
- Skirting boards.
- Doors and door frames.
- Cupboard fronts.
- The extractor hood.
- Detailed bathroom work.
Each job has a place in a planned rotation, so it comes round again before it becomes a bigger task.
4. Your home profile
I take the time to understand what matters to you and your home. At the home consultation, I note the rooms, what each one needs, how often you want visits and any household preferences.
This becomes your home-care plan. I make it for your property. It is not one checklist for every house.
5. A realistic schedule
How often I visit changes the rotation. Weekly visits give more chances to spread the less frequent jobs than fortnightly visits. Monthly jobs go into the visits where they fit.
Not every job fits into every visit. The plan includes only what your booked time allows. A job that does not fit moves to a later visit, so it stays on the list.
6. The report after each visit
After each visit, you'll receive a report showing what has been completed and what may need attention next. It tells you:
- What was completed.
- Which maintenance jobs were done.
- Any jobs still waiting.
- Suggestions for future detailed cleaning.
- Any areas that may need more time.
I email the report to you, so you can see how I use your cleaning time.
7. Extra time, only if you want it
Sometimes a job needs more time than your visit has. The report tells you which job and why. Read how additional cleaning time works.
